Highmark Health SVP, Post-Acute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The SVP, Post-Acute will be a key member of the CMO/Clinical Transformation Office leadership team. The SVP, Post-Acute will work collaboratively within a heavily matrixed environment to lead Highmark Health’s post-acute strategy from its current state into a mature organization capable of delivering on its long term vision. Proven experience in building and growing health care companies will be essential. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record demonstrating success in building, growing, and maintaining companies in the post acute space.
Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develops and implements policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
Drive growth of provider relationships including existing JVs as well as future Hpme & Community Services service lines. Ensure the delivery of high quality, outcome oriented care and services while managing for current and future growth. Identify and analyze opportunities for growth through a variety of channels, including potential acquisitions, JVs, partnerships, etc.
Ensure the continued development and management of a professional and efficient organization; establish effective decision-making processes that will enable the post-acute division to achieve its long- and short-term goals and objectives.
Ensure that the fiscal, operations, medical, marketing, technology, network, and programmatic strategies in this space are effectively implemented across all segments of the organization.
Oversee the financial status of the organization including developing long- and short-term financial plans, monitoring budgets and establishing sound financial controls; set financial priorities accurately to ensure the organization is able to support he needs of key programs and staff.
Cultivate a strong and transparent working relationship with key Highmark Health, Highmark Inc., and Allegheny Health Network stakeholders and ensure open communication about the measurement of financial, programmatic, and impact performance against stated milestones and goals.
Increase efficiencies and consistency by developing and implementing standardized, rationalized programs, services, and program office marketing.
- Bachelor's Degree
Masters in Business Administration/Management
Clinical Degree (nurse, PA, MD, DO)
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS
- Registered Nurse, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Doctor preferred
