GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Provide expert data analysis or consultation regarding complex data processes, business processes and interfaces to support various platform & business areas to enable project teams to make decisions on the integration of enterprise-wide applications. Leverage current and emerging technologies to develop business solutions, and perform functional decomposition techniques to reengineer processes for continuous improvement Provides expert consultation on applications & multiple/cross-platforms on complex and/or highly visible projects using project management and business expertise. Coach, consult and mentor team members on multi-faceted, highly complex business/systems processes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide expert data analysis or consultation regarding complex data processes, business processes and interfaces to support the business platforms.

  • Consults as an application or cross-functional platform expert on complex and/or highly visible projects using project management and business expertise to produce project deliverables.

  • Provides expert advice to enable project & platform teams to:

  • Make decisions based on how individual applications integrate with other enterprise-wide applications using knowledge of platforms, middle-ware, database structures and storage techniques.

  • Leverage current and emerging technologies and interpret systems documentation to develop/validate business solutions.

  • Collaborate with systems architects utilizing analytical, testing or project management tools to facilitate project deliverables.

  • Perform functional decomposition techniques to reengineer processes for continuous improvement.

  • Coach, consult and mentor team members on multi-faceted, highly complex business/systems processes.

  • Interprets complex data into simplified and high-level terminology and/or process flows

  • Facilitates large group requirement gathering sessions with enterprise-wide stakeholders. Provides insights and consultation on multiple business platforms to key stakeholders and project teams.

  • Leads projects and provides consultation and direction to team or project teams. Ability to interpret complex data into simplified and high-level terminology and/or process flows easily understandable at all levels.

  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Licenses/Certifications, and Experience (For Experience requirements please see appropriate role/level guide. If not applicable, list experience requirements below.)

Minimum

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 7 - 10 years of experience in analysis of business processes and interfaces including interpretation of system documentation for multiple platforms

  • 5 years of experience with supporting Project Lifecycle methodology for requirements, test scenarios and cases

  • 5 years of experience managing projects or leading project activities.

  • 5 Years of experience in report writers &/or query tools

  • 4 years of experience in writing & developing business artifacts

  • Experience using process diagrams, user stories, content decomposition, or other means to simplify complex information/processes.

  • 3 years of experience in data trending, quality assurance

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ( This section describes additional preferred characteristics)

  • 4 years of experience in project leadership role

  • 4 years of experience in an operational, insurance or provider setting

  • Advanced working knowledge of process functionality and understanding of multiple business platforms.
